Get help to raise awareness of hepatitis in your community
The Hepatitis Queensland grants program supports organisations across Queensland to raise awareness about viral hepatitis in support of World Hepatitis Day. Held on 28 July every year, World Hepatitis Day is an opportunity to highlight the urgent need to prevent, test and treat viral hepatitis.
Hepatitis B and C are the most common blood-borne viruses in Australia with many unaware they have the virus or that treatment is available. You can help make a difference by engaging with your local community with the support of a grant.
There are countless ways to engage with your community. Previous grant recipients have used these grants to hold morning teas, purchase health packs, create resources, and even make digital animations.
Hepatitis Queensland is providing grants of up to $500 or $1000. Alternatively, you could opt for a $50 supermarket voucher to host a morning tea.
